FMR LLC hold less than 3% of Sonova Holding AG

Stäfa (Switzerland), 09.03.2011 - According to the article 20 of the Swiss Stock Exchange Act, Sonova Holding AG announces that FMR LLC, 82 Devonshire Street, Boston, MA 02109, USA, and its direct and indirect subsidiaries hold less than 3% of total capital and voting rights as of March 2, 2011 due to a sale of shares.

FMR LLC is the parent holding company of Fidelity Management & Research Company (“FMRCO”), investment manager for US mutual funds, and Fidelity Management Trust Company (“FMTC”), a US state chartered bank which acts as a trustee or investment manager of various pension and trust accounts. Pyramis Global Advisors Trust Company LLC (“PGATC“) and Pyramis Global Advisors LLC (“PGALLC“) are indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of FMR LLC.
