With AutoSense OS™ 3.0, the Marvel CI delivers excellent sound quality and performance in a variety of situations throughout the day.
This machine-learning algorithm analyses the sounds in the listener’s environment every 0.4 seconds and can identify whether the wearer is in a noisy restaurant, car, concert hall, or at home, etc. It then engages the appropriate cochlear implant system features to customize and enhance the wearer’s hearing experience based on the specific characteristics of the listening environment.

💬 I caught measles when I was approximately 5 years old, which damaged the nerves in both my ears and left me profoundly deaf. I got my first hearing aids when I was about 10 years old.
Over the years my hearing deteriorated to the level that I had only about 5% hearing in my right ear and 3% hearing in my left ear. I became very good at lip reading.
In 2009, I began to feel a bit down as I was starting to feel ""excluded"" from a lot of things. The manager at my hearing centre noticed that I wasn't my normally happy self and put me forward as a cochlear implant candidate. I was accepted to have a cochlear implant, and four months after my referral I had my operation. I was switched on 4 weeks after my operation and I have never looked back.
An amazing world of sound was opened up for me. I love every moment in the hearing world with my Advanced Bionics CI. I'm now part of the wonderful world of sound 🎵

Choosing a cochlear implant.
“I don’t’ want to say it was a no-brainer because I really sort of struggled to make a decision, but once I’d interviewed and met with the audiologists from Advanced Bionics, I knew that this was going to be the best choice for me.”
