Sonova remains on prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index
Due to continuous improvement in the area of sustainability, Sonova has this year again been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World and DJSI Europe). Among its industry peers, Sonova did especially well in the categories Product Quality, Customer Relationship Management, Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy as well as Environmental Policy.
The global Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World), in which Sonova has been listed since September 2014, is internationally regarded as an important reference for sustainable corporate management and honors the best of each industry. The index comprises the leading ten percent of the world’s 2,500 largest listed companies. It serves as a benchmark for investors who factor in sustainability when assembling their investment portfolios. Analysts from RobecoSAM evaluate companies from 60 industries on a range of environmental, economic and social criteria to determine the global Dow Jones Sustainability Index rating and review the index every year.
Sonova obtained very high scores in the following areas: Product Quality, Customer Relationship Management, Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy as well as Environmental Policy. Compared to the previous period, Sonova was able to make the biggest improvements in terms of Tax strategy, Materiality and Customer Relationship Management.
Being listed on the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the fourth year running is recognition of our ongoing sustainability efforts. We consider this admittance both an incentive and an obligation to continue to do everything in our power to further advance our four sustainability commitments.
