Corporate Social Responsibility at Sonova
An active commitment to better hearing
There are many ways in which Sonova employees are involved with the work of the Hear the World Foundation. With this active dedication, they take part in implementing Sonova’s vision of bringing the delight of hearing to ever more people. The following film shows this social commitment in action at Sonova.
As a leading manufacturer of hearing solutions, Sonova takes social responsibility seriously by helping people in need with hearing loss, getting involved in prevention, and raising awareness.
Sonova puts this responsibility into practice with the Hear the World Foundation. All employees can get actively involved with the foundation’s work. Alongside the financial and technological project support, employees of the Sonova Group form the third pillar of the foundation’s activities. This participation is crucial as it fosters the sustainability of the projects.
From volunteering activities to fundraising programs - each and every contribution counts and is highly appreciated. Furthermore, employees have the opportunity to get involved in the foundation’s Advisory Board and actively support the foundation’s work. The outstanding response is a great proof of Sonova’s strong corporate culture, the employees’ strong sense of responsibility and a high commitment to better hearing.
Hear the World stands for our joint engagement, our Sonova spirit, that drives us to bring better hearing and improving the quality of life for countless individuals every day.
Sarah Kreienbühl, GVP Corporate HRM & Communications, and board member of the Hear the World Foundation, highlights the importance of the employee’s engagement: “In my role as a foundation board member, it makes me especially proud to see how strongly our Sonova employees identify with Hear the World and our corporate values.
