Im brasilianischen Sorocaba hat er ein Stiftungsprojekt f\u00fcr Kinder mit H\u00f6rverlust besucht: Gemeinsames Musizieren soll ihre Sprachentwicklung f\u00f6rdern \u2013 auch in Zukunft will Sway seine Musik mit Betroffenen teilen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In der Mitte sitzt Marc Sway, seine Gitarre auf den Knien, er singt mit vollem Herzen. Um ihn herum Dutzende Kinder auf dem Boden, sie schauen gespannt zu ihm auf. Dann fangen die ersten an, sich im Rhythmus zu wiegen, Laute zu formen, im Takt mit zu klatschen. Auch die, welche nicht ganz so gut h\u00f6ren: Sway ist zu Besuch bei einem Hilfsprojekt f\u00fcr Kinder mit H\u00f6rverlust in Brasilien. Als Kind einer brasilianischen Mutter war das Land seine zweite Heimat. Sways Mission: Mit den Kindern Musik zu machen und so als Botschafter von Sonovas\u00a0 Hear The World Foundation die Sprachentwicklung seiner kleinen Zuh\u00f6rer zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als Musiker h\u00f6re, sehe und f\u00fchle ich mit meinem Geh\u00f6r. K\u00f6nnte ich nicht h\u00f6ren, w\u00e4re es mir nicht m\u00f6glich, meinen Beruf auszu\u00fcben. Darum unterst\u00fctze ich das Engagement der Hear the World Foundation, weltweit besseres H\u00f6ren zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marc Sway, Musiker<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weltweit sind 32 Millionen Kinder von H\u00f6rverlust betroffen, viele haben keinen Zugang zu H\u00f6rl\u00f6sungen. Weil Kinder, die nicht h\u00f6ren weder sprechen lernen noch eine Ausbildung geniessen k\u00f6nnen, sind ihre Chancen auf ein eigenst\u00e4ndiges Leben minimal. Dieses Problem geht Marc Sway sehr nahe, f\u00fcr ihn ist gutes H\u00f6ren eine Lebensgrundlage: \u201eAls Musiker h\u00f6re, sehe und f\u00fchle ich mit meinem Geh\u00f6r. K\u00f6nnte ich nicht h\u00f6ren, w\u00e4re es mir nicht m\u00f6glich, meinen Beruf auszu\u00fcben. Darum unterst\u00fctze ich das Engagement der Hear the World Foundation, weltweit besseres H\u00f6ren zu erm\u00f6glichen.\u201c<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als Auftakt seines aktiven Engagements f\u00fcr Hear the World reiste der bekannte Schweizer Musiker im Mai 2017 nach S\u00e3o\u00a0 Paolo, wo er ein von der Hear the World Foundation unterst\u00fctztes Hilfsprojekt besuchte. Das gemeinsame Projekt mit der Nonprofit-Organisation Apadas \u2013 Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Pais Amigos Deficientes Auditivos \u2013\u00a0 in der Stadt Sorocaba bietet mittellosen Familien eine kostenlose und professionelle h\u00f6rmedizinische Versorgung.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eIch habe lange \u00fcberlegt, was meine Aufgabe vor Ort sein k\u00f6nnte\u201c, sagt Marc Sway. \u201eUnd ich denke, dass ich am besten Musik machen und mit Menschen kommunizieren kann. Musik ist eine Kommunikationsform, die weltweit funktioniert \u2013 die Kinder sind ganz losgel\u00f6st, sie legen alle Hemmungen ab. Ein wundersch\u00f6nes Projekt.\u201c Der prominente Gast r\u00fchrte die Leiterin der Einrichtung zu Tr\u00e4nen: \u201eHeute ist ein ganz besonderer Tag f\u00fcr uns, wir freuen uns sehr, Marc begr\u00fcssen zu d\u00fcrfen\u201c, sagte Angelina Martinez mit zitternder Stimme. \u201eEr glaubt an die F\u00e4higkeit der Kinder, zu singen und zu h\u00f6ren, und er teilt mit ihnen die Liebe zur Musik.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mehr audiologische Zentren dank Hear the World<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marc Sway freut sich, dass er mit dem gemeinsamen Musizieren dazu beitr\u00e4gt, die Sprachentwicklung der Kinder in Sorocabo zu f\u00f6rdern. Sways Besuch wird ihnen in Erinnerung bleiben: Das Gitarrenspiel\u00a0 und der Gesang hat die Kinder auf spielerische Art und Weise motiviert und ihren H\u00f6rsinn angeregt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durch weitere intensive F\u00f6rderung werden die Kinder in der Lage sein, eine Schule zu besuchen und somit bessere Zukunftsperspektiven zu haben. Aber es gibt zu wenige Zentren, die audiologische Hilfe anbieten. Zusammen mit Apadas ist Sonovas Hear the World Foundation dabei, die Versorgungssituation zu verbessern. Sie bildet Fachleute aus, bietet Weiterbildungen an und unterst\u00fctzt Forschung im Bereich Audiologie finanziell und fachlich.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schon jetzt m\u00fcssen viele Betroffenen nicht mehr bis zu sechs Stunden in das Zentrum bei S\u00e3o Paolo reisen: Dank der Hear the World Foundation haben sich mehr Experten in den anderen Regionen spezialisiert und neue Anlaufstellen mit Angeboten von der Fr\u00fcherkennung bis zur Sprachtherapie geschaffen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alle sollen Musik h\u00f6ren k\u00f6nnen<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr die 2,5 Millionen Menschen in der Region rund um die Industriestadt Sorocaba \u00f6stlich von S\u00e3o Paulo spielt aber nach wie vor Apadas die Schl\u00fcsselrolle bei der audiologischen Versorgung von Kindern. Dass die Einrichtung nun so prominente Unterst\u00fctzung erh\u00e4lt, ist f\u00fcr die Leiterin Angelina Martinez von grossem Wert: \u201eMarcs Besuch bedeutet so viel mehr als musizieren: Er zeigt Kindern, dass er an sie glaubt und ermutigt sie, ihr volles Potenzial auszusch\u00f6pfen.\u201c<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von dem Engagement Sways als Botschafter der Hear the World Foundation werden auch andere Menschen mit H\u00f6rverlust profitieren: Auf seiner Konzerttournee 2018 will der Musiker das eigene Publikum f\u00fcr die Bedeutung guten H\u00f6rens sensibilisieren, und seine Musik Menschen mit H\u00f6rverlust zug\u00e4nglich machen. Daf\u00fcr engagiert er einen Geb\u00e4rdensprach-Dolmetscher, der seine Songtexte auf der B\u00fchne simultan \u00fcbersetzt. \u201eMusik ist meine Welt \u2013 eine Welt die niemandem verborgen bleiben soll\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Sway seine Beweggr\u00fcnde.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Auf der Gala-B\u00fchne f\u00fcr einen guten Zweck<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von seinem Projektbesuch in Brasilien berichtet Marc Sway im Juni 2017 anl\u00e4sslich der Hear the World Charity Gala im Z\u00fcricher Dolder Grand Hotel. Dort stellt die Stiftung ihre Arbeit in den vielen Hilfsprojekten vor, es werden Preise versteigert und bewegende Geschichten von Kindern mit H\u00f6rverlust erz\u00e4hlt. Auf dem Schwarz-Weiss-Portr\u00e4t sieht man Sway in der Pose f\u00fcr bewusstes H\u00f6ren mit der Hand hinter dem Ohr: So wird auf die Bedeutung guten H\u00f6rens und die Folgen von H\u00f6rverlust aufmerksam gemacht.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sway steht damit in einer Reihe mit bereits \u00fcber 100 anderen prominenten Botschaftern wie Pl\u00e1cido Domingo, Cindy Crawford, Eros Ramazzotti, Joss Stone, Kate Moss und Tina Turner. Sie alle hat Bryan Adams \u00fcber die Jahre fotografisch in Szene gesetzt.
