Damals hat sie viel geschrien, viel gew\u00fctet, erz\u00e4hlt die Mutter manchmal, aber My kann sich nicht daran erinnern. Sie will sich nicht erinnern an die Stille inmitten dieses Hurrikans an T\u00f6nen, dieser fremden, unh\u00f6rbaren T\u00f6ne. Sie will sich nur noch an die letzten Monate erinnern, an die letzten Wochen und an heute. Sie will durch Pf\u00fctzen patschen, und dem Regen lauschen, der auf die Plastikplanen klopft. Sie will jedes Mofa begr\u00fc\u00dfen, dass ihr entgegenf\u00e4hrt und Palmbl\u00e4tter streicheln, bis sie zu Knistern beginnen.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i>Ihre Mutter kann es manchmal noch nicht fassen, dass My jetzt \u201eBlatt\u201c sagen kann und \u201eBlume\u201c, dass sie \u201eSchuh\u201c sagen kann und \u201eSchule\u201c. Aber My selbst wundert sich nicht. Sie ist jetzt f\u00fcnf und hat immer schon gesprochen und immer schon geh\u00f6rt, seit sie denken kann, seit sie sich erinnern kann, als h\u00e4tte es die Zeit vor der Operation nie gegeben. Sie ist jetzt ein M\u00e4dchen wie alle anderen hier in Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt am Ufer des Saigon-Flusses. Sie kann sich kugeln vor Lachen, wenn ihre Freundinnen ihr einen Witz erz\u00e4hlen, sie tanzt manchmal ausgelassen durch die Stra\u00dfen zu ihrer eigenen Musik, und sie schaut auf, wenn ihre Mutter sie ruft, als sei das alles nichts Besonderes.\u00bb<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"444\" height=\"250\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sonova.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/FR_SNV_Viet_9951.jpg\" alt=\"My, a five-year-old Vietnamese girl, was born with severe hearing loss. With support from the Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss, she was able to go to a specialist school, where she was given a hearing aid that was unfortunately not powerful enough for her to learn to talk. Thanks to a program jointly run by the Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss and the Hear the World Foundation, a Sonova Group initiative, My was fitted with a cochlear implant in Ho Chi Minh City in 2019. Durch die Unterst\u00fctzung der Gobal Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss konnte sie mit drei Jahren auf eine F\u00f6rderschule gehen, und sie bekam ein H\u00f6rger\u00e4t, das f\u00fcr My von seiner Leistung her allerdings nicht ausreichend war, um sprechen lernen zu k\u00f6nnen. Dank einem gemeinsamen Programm der Gobal Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss und der Hear the World Foundation, einer Initiative der Sonova Gruppe, wurde My 2019 in Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt ein Cochlea-Implantat eingesetzt. Die Implantate, der chirurgische Eingriff, die lange Therapie und alle audiologischen Leistungen sowie die lebenslangen Kosten f\u00fcr die Ger\u00e4tepflege sind f\u00fcr viele Familien unbezahlbar. Fr\u00fcher sei sie schnell frustriert und zornig geworden. Inzwischen bl\u00fche My charakterlich regelrecht auf.
