Sonova, the globally active group of companies, is one of the world’s top three manufacturers of hearing systems, the market leader in wireless communication systems for audiology applications and a provider of professional solutions for hearing protection. Sonova is pursuing a clear and sustainable growth strategy and is intent on further building its market share.

The name change from Phonak Holding AG to Sonova Holding AG was approved overwhelmingly at the Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting of June 12, 2007 and scheduled for August 1, 2007.

On August 2, 2007 the Sonova share (formerly Phonak Holding AG) will be traded for the first time under the new name at the SWX Swiss Exchange. The new ticker symbol is SOON (formerly PHBN). The security number remains unchanged (Val. No.: 1254978).

Please note that Sonova is not a commercial brand and does not sell any products and services. Products will be sold, as before, under our well-known and successful brands such as Phonak or Unitron Hearing.
