Due to continuous improvement in the area of sustainability, Sonova has this year again been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World and DJSI Europe). Compared to the previous year, Sonova obtained higher overall scores in all three environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions and also improved its relative ranking among industry peers.
The global Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World), in which Sonova has been listed since September 2014, is internationally regarded as an important reference for sustainable corporate management and honors the best of each industry. The index comprises the leading ten percent of the world’s 2,500 largest listed companies. It serves as a benchmark for investors who factor in sustainability when assembling their investment portfolios. Analysts from S&P Global evaluate companies from 61 industries on a range of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria to determine the global Dow Jones Sustainability Index rating and review the index every year.
